摘  要:绿孔雀在中国仅分布于云南中部、南部和西部。2015~2017年,采用样线法、样点法,结合调查访问,进行了绿孔雀种群数量和分布现状调查。结果显示,中国现存野生绿孔雀种群数量约为235~280只,种群数量比20多年前800~1100只(文贤继等,1995)的调查结果明显减少。分布地区由1995年云南省的32个县,急剧缩减至现在的13个县。在我国云南,绿孔雀主要生活在沿河谷两岸的热带、亚热带常绿阔叶林和林型较为开阔的低密度思茅松林,由于栖息地生境的破坏,导致绿孔雀现存种群呈小家族群点状隔离分布。A survey on the current status and distribution of green peafowl(Pavo muticus imperator)in China was undertaken from 2015 to 2017.Using a combination of line transect sampling and interviews,we investigated the central,south and west areas of Yunnan Province including the whole historical distribution area in China for this species.According to estimation the population size of green peafowl was about 235-280 in China.The number of individuals had declined sharply from the former population of 800-1100(unpublished survey in 1995).The range of green peafowl in China shows a dramatic decrease from 32 counties(ibid.1995)to 13 counties currently.Their preferred habitat was tropical and sub-tropical evergreen broad-leaf forest and low density Simao Pine trees(Pinus kesiya var.langbianensis).But habitat loss and fragmentation have been associated with disjunct distribution of green peafowl small family groups.
