国之交在于民相亲:论“汉语热”与中国文化外交

摘　　要：文化交流是民族、国家和人民之间最高、最深层次的交流,文化外交是国与国之间建立友好合作的桥梁与纽带。语言是文化交流的必要手段,也是推动文化外交的重要途径。汉语作为中华文化的一部分,是反映中华民族悠久文化的一面镜子。当前出现的国际"汉语热"现象无疑是中华文化吸引力提升的重要体现。可利用国际"汉语热"升温的契机,充分发挥华侨华人的作用,合理利用新媒体和外国留学生的力量,进一步使外国民众接受、认可甚至爱上中华文化,实现民心相通的文化外交价值。Cultural communication is the top and the most profound level of communication among nations,states and people.Culture always serves as a bridge for friendly cooperation among countries.Language is an essential tool that cultural exchange cannot do without as well as a significant means of cultural diplomacy.Chinese language is both an integral part as well as a mirror that reflects the time-honored culture of Chinese nation.Undoubtedly,the current worldwide craze for Chinese language is a significant manifestation of the rise in the appeal of Chinese culture.It is contended in the present paper that the craze for Chinese language can be exploited so that the affinity between people can be promoted through cultural diplomacy by giving full play of the role of overseas Chinese and the new forces including the new media and international students rationally.
