摘  要:由于激发结构简单和场的增强效应,近年来表面等离子共振在传感领域获得了广泛的应用。而双面金属包覆波导中的超高阶导模,其灵敏度、品质因子(Q值)和功率密度等比表面等离子共振具有更优越的特性。以此为基础,我们设计了一种毫米尺度的光学芯片和激发结构,并利用这种器件开展了各种传感实验。实验结果证明,超高阶导模传感器可应用于环境保护、食品安全和生物分子相互作用等领域。Surface plasmon resonance(SPR)has recently attracted considerable interest because of its simple operation principle and measurement apparatus,which can be utilized in a wide range of fields and has already been commercialized for a wide range of fields.However,the ultra-high order modes(UHM)excited in the symmetrical metal-cladding waveguide possess better qualities than that of SPR,such as high sensitivity,high quality factor(Q value)and largely enhanced optical power density.Based on these characteristics,a hollow-core metal cladding waveguide sensor has been developed and various studies are carried out.The experimental results have proved that the instrument can be used in the fields of environmental protection,food safety,and bio molecular interaction.
