500统一题名的作用及用法分析

摘　　要：在中文编目中,500统一题名既具有其他5--字段所共有的题名检索功能,又具有其他5--字段所没有的文献汇集作用。在选取统一题名时,首先应以最习见的中文题名形式(而不是外文原题名)作为统一题名;若无法确定习见题名,则以最先出现的中文题名作为统一题名。在使用500统一题名标目时,则仅需将其著录在不同于正题名的书目记录即可。In Chinese cataloging,500 uniform title not only has retrieval functions shared by other 5--fields title,but also has the function of literature collection that other 5--fields do not have.When choosing uniform title,first should be the most familiar form of Chinese title as a uniform title rather than foreign original title.If the familiar title cannot be ascertained,the first Chinese title will be used as the uniform title.When using 500 uniform title records,it is only required to be recorded in a different bibliographic record than the title proper.
