Analysis of China's rare earth import during 2016

摘　　要：According to Customs data,China totally imported 16,516.7 tons of rare earth products in 2016,up by 54.86%year-on-year.Import volume totaled$97.57 million,up 4.42%year-on-year.Among these,there were 16,501.4 tons of rare earth compounds valued$97.06 million,up by 55.30%in quantity and 6.29%in volume year-on-year.A total of 15.3 tons of rare earth metals were imported valued about$510,000.In fact,it is normal that some of the export products stuck in the bonded zone are finally returned.The customs data show that they are exported to China,which should be corrected.The revised actual import statistics are shown in table 1.
