摘  要:表面粘铝是压铸模型芯常见的失效方式。采用OM、SEM、XRD等手段对不同寿命型芯的表面与截面的形貌、组织、微区成分以及物相进行了分析。研究表明,当型芯表面PVD涂层存在缺陷时,铝合金液将较早地突破PVD涂层的防护直接侵蚀型芯基体,生成Fe-Al-Si中间相而引起铝的粘着。当表面PVD涂层均匀而完整并与基体结合良好时,型芯服役寿命较长。因此,PVD涂层质量是影响型芯抵抗铝合金液侵蚀和粘着的关键因素。Adhering aluminum is a typical failure way of die casting cores.The morphologies,microstructures,microarea composition and phases of the surface and cross sections of die casting cores put in service for different lengths of time were analyzed by optical microscope,scanning electron microscope and X ray diffractometer.The results showed that when some defects existed at the surface of PVD coating,the aluminum alloy liquid would be more easy to break through PVD coating and directly erode the core matrix,resulting in the adherence of aluminum due to formation of Fe-Al-Si intermediate phase.When the PVD coating was uniform and complete,and well bonded to the matrix,the core would have a longer service life.Therefore,the quality of PVD coating is a key factor in resistance of the core to erosion and adherence of molten aluminum.
