摘　　要：宗教是人类社会发展的一种社会和历史现象，它的发展必然受到一定历史和社会条件的制约，并相应地对这一历史时期的社会生活产生影响。在美国，宗教在社会中起着非常重要而特殊的作用。20世纪上半叶的美国宗教体现出宗教世俗化、一体化和回归正统的时代特征，折射出当时的美国社会变迁，也体现出当时美国社会对宗教的影响。As a social and historical phenomenon of human society,religion is closely related to,and in turn,exerts its unique impacts on social developments.In American society in the first half of the 20th century,religion is characterized by secularity,integration and universality,a reflection of the then social developments.
