电气石在钢结构水性重防腐涂料中的应用

摘　　要：选用带碳碳双键的硅烷偶联剂对电气石表面进行改性,然后以其作为功能填料,采用原位乳液聚合法制备了一种用于钢结构重防腐涂料的改性苯丙乳液。用红外光谱、粒径分析、电化学阻抗谱和差示扫描量热法对改性电气石、乳液及其胶膜进行了表征。考察了硅烷偶联剂的种类及用量对电气石活化指数、吸油率和沉降时间的影响,发现用1 g KH-570改性10 g电气石时较好。不同改性电气石含量的苯丙乳液及其胶膜的性能测试结果表明:加入改性电气石提高了纯苯丙乳液涂膜的附着力、铅笔硬度、耐水性和耐蚀性。当加入质量分数为3%的改性电气石时,所得涂膜的综合性能最好:附着力1级,铅笔硬度为H,浸入常温水中24 h或经中性盐雾48 h试验后无变化。改性苯丙乳液与聚氨酯丙烯酸酯乳液、环氧改性丙烯酸酯乳液或乙烯基酯改性丙烯酸酯乳液能够很好地共混,所得涂膜的耐水性和耐蚀性较好。Tourmaline was modified by silane coupling agent having carbon–carbon double bond,and then used as functional fillers to prepare a modified styrene acrylic emulsion for heavy-duty paint applied to steel structures by in-situ emulsion polymerization.The modified tourmaline as well as the emulsion and its cured film were characterized by infrared spectroscopy,particle size analysis,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,and differential scanning calorimetry.The effects of the type and content of silane coupling agent on the activation index,oil absorption,and sedimentation time of tourmaline were studied.It was found that the tourmaline(10 g)modified by KH-570(1 g)has good performances.The properties of the styrene acrylic emulsions and their cured films with different contents of modified tourmaline were tested.The results showed that the addition of modified tourmaline improves the adhesion strength,pencil hardness,water resistance,and corrosion resistance of the pure styrene acrylic coating.The coating obtained with 3%of modified tourmaline has the best comprehensive properties,as shown by an adhesion strength of 1 grade,a pencil hardness of H,and no change after being immersed in water at room temperature for 24 h or suffered in neutral salt spray test for 48 h.The modified styrene acrylic emulsion can be well mixed with polyurethane acrylate emulsion,epoxy-modified acrylate emulsion or vinyl ester modified acrylate emulsion.The film obtained therefrom has good resistance to water and corrosion.
