摘　　要：宁夏回族自治区自1958年成立以来,在中共中央、国务院的亲切关怀和兄弟省市的大力支持下,经济社会迅速发展,人民生活不断改善,民族团结不断巩固,科教文化事业全面进步。自治区成立60年来取得的辉煌成就充分证明实行民族区域自治制度是正确的,只要坚持中国特色社会主义的发展方向,坚持中国共产党的领导,认真贯彻中共中央、国务院关于民族地区发展的一系列重大方针政策和战略部署,把发展地区经济放在首位,坚持依法治区,全面贯彻党的宗教工作基本方针,民族地区的发展前景就是光明的。Since its establishment in 1958,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has witnessed rapid economic and social development,continuous improvement of people’s livelihood,continuous consolidation of national unity and overall progress in science,education and culture with the cordial care of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council and the strong support of other provinces and cities.The brilliant achievements made in the past 60 years since the establishment of the autonomous region fully proved the correctness of the implementation of the system of regional national autonomy.As long as we adhere to the development direction of socialism with Chinese characteristics,adhere to the leadership of the Communist Party of China,conscientiously implement a series of major policies and strategic arrangements of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council on the development of ethnic areas,put the development of the regional economy first,adhere to the rule of law and fully implement the Party’s basic policy on religious work,the prospects for the development of ethnic areas are bright.
