摘　　要：《中国季刊》作为海外当代中国研究领域颇具代表性的期刊,对改革开放以来中国的经济改革和发展保持了密切关注。综观1978~2002年间《中国季刊》发表的关于中国经济改革与发展的文章,主要集中于中国经济改革的成就及原因探究;中国经济发展中面临的问题和挑战;中国经济发展的前景分析及评价。这些研究成果对于我们深刻理解和反思1978年以来中国经济改革的实践,拓展国内学界的研究思路和研究视野都有一定的积极作用。但海外学者由于受意识形态的影响,其研究也存在着很多不容忽视的问题和局限,这就需要我们在今后的研究中辩证地分析海外学者的研究成果。The China Quarterly,as an authoritative journal in the field of overseas contemporary Chinese research,has paid close attention to China’s economic reform and development since the reform and opening-up.A comprehensive survey of the articles on China’s economic reform and development published in The China Quarterly from 1978 to 2002 shows that the articles focus on the achievements and reasons of China’s economic reform,the problems and challenges faced by China’s economic development and the analysis and evaluation of the prospects of China’s economic development.These research results have certain positive effects on our deep understanding and reflection on the practice of China’s economic reform since 1978 and expanding and extending the research ideas and visions of the domestic academic circles.However,due to the influence of ideology,overseas scholars’research also has many problems and limitations that can’t be ignored,which requires us to dialectically analyze the research results of overseas scholars in future research.
