摘　　要：2018年1月1日实施的《中华人民共和国公共图书馆法》中明确支持我国学校图书馆向社会公众开放,为我国高校图书馆的社会化服务提供了有力的政策保证。文章以美国和日本20所高校图书馆为样本,对其社会服务情况进行调查,分析和总结其服务特色和亮点,以期为我国高校图书馆社会化服务提供借鉴与参考。The People’s Republic of China Public Library Law,implemented in January 1,2018,clearly supports the opening of university libraries to the public,which provides a strong policy guarantee for the future social services of university libraries in China.This article,taking 20 American and Japanese universities as an example,investigate their social services,analyzes and summarizes their service characteristics and highlights to provide reference for social service in our university libraries.
