摘　　要：美国一些档案馆和图书馆收藏了不少日伪统治时期苏皖沿江地区教会医院的档案与文献,其种类丰富多样,且相对完整,但由于分布分散及语言等问题,这批珍稀档案未得到充分利用。对这批档案进行搜集、整理与研究,不仅可为学术界研究日伪时期教会医院的生存状态、探索二战期间美日远东国际关系之演变提供第一手史料,还可以无可辩驳的事实揭露日军在侵华战争中犯下的暴行,回击日本右翼分子否认侵略战争的谬论,具有重要的学术价值和现实意义。In some American institutions,there are a large number of archives and documents of missionary hospitals along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces during the period of Japanese-Puppet regime.Due to the dispersive collections as well as the language barriers,such archives and documents have not been fully utilized.Thus,it is necessary to make a careful re-organization of and in-depth study on such archives and documents,which could be much helpful to make clear the survival status of missionary hospitals during the period of Japanese-Puppet regime,the evolution of U.S.-Japan relationship during World War II,and the atrocities committed in China by Japanese forces as well.
