摘　　要：阐述了非线性光学理论和材料的发展概况。介绍了应用于激光防护的非线性光限幅效应。最后总结了表征非线性光学性能优异的基本参数,为设计合成快速响应的非线性光学材料并应用于光限幅领域提供价值指导。In this paper,the development of nonlinear optical theory and nonlinear optical materials are described.Meanwhile,the nonlinear optical limiting effect been applied to laser protection is introduced.Finally,we summarize the vital parameters for characterizing the nonlinear optical materials properties,which provide valuable guidance for the design and synthesis of fast response nonlinear optical materials and applied to the field of optical limiting.
