摘 要:硬X射线调制望远镜(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope,HXMT)卫星是中国第一颗大型X射线观测天文卫星,文章以HXMT卫星科学和观测需求为基础,提出了HXMT卫星系统设计思路和方案,包括观测需求的分析、轨道及卫星工作模式设计,以及卫星系统设计、分系统设计、卫星望远镜与卫星平台设计等结果,并介绍了卫星在轨评价及取得的技术成就,通过系统设计及优化,HXMT卫星具有先进的暗弱变源巡天能力、独特的多波段快速光变观测能力,以及拓展的200keV~3MeV能区伽马暴探测能力等优势,可为后续天文卫星的设计提供参考。The HXMT(hard X-ray modulation telescope)satellite is the first X-ray astronomical satellite in China,which is utilizing the“direct demodulation image reconstruction method”.Based on the satellite’s scientific and observational requirements,this paper presents the design idea and scheme of the satellite system,including the analysis of observational requirements,the design of orbit and working mode,and the results of the design of the satellite system.And this paper introduces the performance and technical achievements of satellite on orbit,which will provide reference for the design of space astronomy satellites.The HXMT satellite will perform an all-sky scan survey which can result in source detection characterized with high sensitivity and spatial resolution.And it has observation capability of the Galactic bright sources with broad band and high time precision.In addition,the HXMT satellite has a powerful capability developed for monitoring the gamma-ray burst,which turns out to be almost unique in the entire world due to its energy coverage of 200keV^3MeV and the largest detection area there born.
