摘　　要：西方近现代政治哲学的一般性特征,就是政治的哲学基础在于人类的理性,具有历史性、经验性和科学性的特点,其明显的缺点就是非伦理性和国家主义。荀子依据理性思考了政治制度的建构、权力的来源、行政运作、政治的正当性等政治哲学的基本问题,也具备历史性、经验性和科学性等政治哲学的基本点。荀子是世界范围内最早依据理性思考政治的思想家,因此,荀子可以被称为政治哲学第一人。The general characteristics of modern Western Political Philosophy shows that the philosophical basis of politics lies in human reason with historical,empirical and scientific characteristics.The obvious disadvantage is those of non-ethical and Nationalism.On the Rational basis,Xunzi thought about the basic problems of political philosophy,such as the construction of political system,the source of power,the operation of administration,the legitimacy of politics.It also has the basic points of political philosophy,such as historical,empirical and scientific.Xunzi was the first thinker in the world to think rationally.So Xunzi can be called the first person of political philosophy.
