民国时期中外人士对黎族文身的描述与研究

摘　　要：民国时期,文身现象在黎族中间还较为普遍,不少到过黎区的人士都对他们所看到的黎族文身现象进行了描述和研究。文章整理、归纳了中外普通人士田曙岚的《海南岛旅行记》、黄强的《五指山问黎记》及演说词、林仁超的《琼崖黎洞奇观》、萨维纳的《海南岛志》、伦纳德·克拉克的《接着说打法鸡的海南黎人》、冈田谦的《海南岛黎族的社会组织》、山本力熊的《黎族故事》及报刊各类文章中对黎族文身的描述,介绍并评述了人类学家刘咸的《海南岛黎人文身之研究》、王兴瑞《黎人的文身·结婚·丧葬——从史籍上所见》、史图博《海南岛民族志》等对黎族文身的研究,认为这些相关描述与研究基本可勾勒出民国时期黎族文身的全景图像。During the Republic of China,tattooing was relatively common among the Li people,and many persons visiting the Li area described and studied the tattooing of the Li people they had seen.By systematizing and summarizing the descriptions of the Li people’s tattooing by foreign and Chinese personages such as Tian Shulan’s A Trip to Hainan Island,Huang Qiang’s An Survey of the Li People around the Wuzhi Mountain and speeches,Lin Renchao’s Wonders of the Li Nationality Caves on Hainan Island,La Savina’s A Chronicle of Hainan Island,Leonard Clark’s The Li People on Hainan Island,Okada’s The Social Organization of the Li People on Hainan Island,Yamamoto’s Stories of the Li People and those in various newspapers,and by introducing and reviewing studies on the Li people’s tattooing like the anthropologist Liu Xian’s A Study of the Li People’s Tattooing on Hainan Island,Wang Xingrui’s The Li People’s Tattooing,Marriages and Funerals in the Perspective of Historical Records and Stubel’s The Ethnography of Hainan Island,etc,a panoramic view can,as is believed,be presented of the Li people’s tattooing during the Republic of China.
