Objective:To observe the effect of cervical epidural block in treatment of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type(CSA).Method:A total of 60 patients with CSA in our hospital were selected.According to the random number table method, they were divided into group A and group B,30 cases in each group.Group A was treated with cervical epidural block and group B was treated with SGB.The pain condition(VAS score)before and after treatment, curative effect and complications between two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of group A was 96.67%,which was higher than 73.33%of group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS scores of two groups were all lower than those of before treatment, and group A was lower than that of group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in two groups was compared, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with SGB treatment, cervical epidural block can relieve pain symptoms of CSA patients more effectively, and the curative effect is definite.
