摘　　要：《佩瑟萌的三次恋爱》是澳大利亚女作家卡珊卓·构茨在2011年获得澳大利亚总理文学奖的小说。小说将成长的主题与生态的主题交织在一起,说明成长的过程也是各物种与周围社会与自然环境建立起和谐关系的过程,而成长的实现也是和谐关系被建立起来的时刻。小说将人类与动物设置成并列的主人公,彻底瓦解了人与动物的二元对立,实现了各物种之间的平等与民主;之后,小说逐步勾勒出两主人公在社会与自然环境冲突中螺旋上升的精神与心理成长历程。最后,人类主人公在挽救动物主人公时实现了成长最关键一步——顿悟,从而点明了小说人类对动物的救赎实际上也是对自我救赎的生态主题。The Three Loves of Persimmon,an outstanding novel by Cassandra Golds,was a 2011 Australia Prime Minister Award winner.In the novel,the initiation theme is naturally woven into the echoism theme,proposing that the initiation progression is also the process of establishing harmonious relationship with social and natural environment.The creation of parallel heroines of both human and animal deconstructs the human/animal binary,establishing the equality and democracy among all kinds of lives;the gradual unfolding of the spiral progression of each independent initiation journey in the conflicts of the social and natural environment presents the spiritual and psychological development of the heroines;finally,the human heroine achieves her moment of epiphany after saving the life of animal heroine,illuminating the theme of the novel--the redemption of the animals by humans is also the redemption of humans by themselves.
