摘　　要：精英阶层在政治民主和社会进程中被寄予厚望,知识精英作为其中的一个组成部分,理应具备高度的公共意识和广泛的社会关怀。水木社区的用户群体是中国知识精英的一个范本,他们的议题偏向能够折射中国精英群体的公共感知、价值取向和文化品格,进而诠释知识社群的公共性。研究结果表明,青年知识社群议题呈现出"去公共性"特征,内容上偏离媒体议程,价值取向上趋向实用主义和自我中心化。在网络社区里,他们更多是一种个人化和生活化的交往空间,并不具有显著的网络公共领域特征。The educated intellectuals as components of social elites who have been highly expected for their roles in political and democratic processes were thought of possessing strong public consciousness and broader social cares.This research examines and compares the top popular topics at Newsmth.net with cases from 163.com to investigate the preference of the community residents.It argues that,in the case of Newsmth,the characteristics of the topic preference could be outlined as non-public,being pragmatistic and egocentric and deviating from the media agenda.The virtual community the intellectuals lives in and communicates with each other is much more a kind of private and daily life space,rather not a public sphere defined by Jurgen Habermas.
