基于语料库面子理论视域的人称换称手法研究——《傲慢与偏见》全著对话解读

摘　　要：从语用学视角对人称换称手法的两种基本种类借代人称换称与交叉人称换称进行考察。在Brown和Levinson经典面子四分类的基础上,结合定性和定量分析,提出在面子理论框架下人称换称模式建构,结合考虑第三方面子和多方面子运行,对奥斯丁的《傲慢与偏见》全书对话的人称换称进行探究,建立小型语料库。研究发现:小说主要采用了两种基本的人称换称来实施面子挽救行为或面子威胁行为。面子是人们在交际中采取人称转换手法的深层次原因,不论是为了挽救面子还是威胁面子,也不论是发话人、受话人、第三方还是多方的面子。Firstly observed from the perspective of pragmatics are the two kinds of personal reference switch device,synecdochical reference switch and crossing reference switch.Then based on Brown and Levinson's classical face categories,a new working model of personal reference switch device in the framework of face theory is raised by the author.A detailed investigation has been conducted in this study of personal reference switch in all the conversations in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.Then,a corpus's built and offers a further analysis.The paper reaches the following conclusions:firstly,it is found that there are two types of personal reference switch to perform face saving acts(FSAs)or face threatening acts(FTAs).Secondly,it is found that personal reference switch can be viewed as one of the important devices to take care of"face",which is the underlying reason why people would resort to personal reference switch in communication.Personal reference switch is designed for"face",be it out of the purpose of face saving or face threatening,and be it concerning the speaker's,the hearer's,the third party's or several parties'face.
