行业特色型大学的学科水平与学科特色探析——基于2012年一级学科评估的研究

摘　　要：基于教育部学位中心2012年一级学科评估排名,本研究对位居三甲的一级学科及其所在大学进行聚类分析。研究发现,行业特色型大学具有较强的综合实力、鲜明的学科特色。但是,与综合型大学、部属大学(教育部直属大学除外)、地方性大学相比,其存在“比上不足、比下不强”的现实困境。为了促进行业特色型大学的发展,本文提出,在理念上需要更新观念、深化认识、探索规律、形成共识;在行动上需要启动实施学科特色工程(计划),提升行业特色型大学的综合实力;在大学自身内部需要完善内部治理结构、建立现代大学制度,推进一流学科建设,不断提升核心竞争力。Based on the first-tier disciplines evaluation ranking in 2012 by the Center of China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education under the Ministry of Education,this study analyzed the distribution features of the top 3 programs in each discipline and the universities they are located.The findings pointed out that although industry-based universities have shown substantial comprehensive strength and distinctive disciplinary features,they face the dilemma of“caught in the middle”.To improve the development of industry-based universities,this study calls for innovative ideas,deeper understanding,and general consensus.In terms of action to be taken,the Featured Discipline Projects need to be initiated in order to elevate the level of comprehensive strength of these universities;they also need to improve their governance structure,form modernized internal systems,strive to build more top-tier programs,and continue to boost their core competitiveness.
