摘 要:采用溶胶凝胶法制备了SiO_2-Al_2O_3-Na_2O基玻璃涂层CBN磨料,通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、X射线能谱仪(EDS)、热膨胀仪及力学性能测试仪表征了玻璃涂层CBN磨料的性能,并将玻璃涂层CBN磨料应用于陶瓷结合剂磨具。实验结果表明:SiO_2-Al_2O_3-Na_2O基涂层玻璃的热膨胀系数与CBN磨料相匹配,对CBN颗粒形成良好的包裹润湿。玻璃涂层的CBN磨料单颗粒抗压强度和冲击韧性均比未涂层的磨料有所提高。在陶瓷结合剂CBN磨具中玻璃改性增强了CBN磨料与结合剂的界面区结合,提高了磨料与陶瓷结合剂之间的粘结力。SiO 2-Al 2O 3-Na 2O glass coated CBN abrasive particles were prepared by sol-gel processing.By using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),element dispersive spectrum(EDS)and thermal analyzer together with mechanical strength tester,the properties of glass coated CBN grains and vitrified CBN grinding wheels were studied.The result indicates that the SiO2-Al 2O3-Na2O glass is excellent material for CBN abrasive grains since its coefficient of thermal expansion closely match that of CBN.CBN particles are completely wrapped.Moreover,the impact toughness and single particle compressive strength are significantly increased by covering glass coatings on CBN abrasive particles.The glass coated CBN particles are applied to vitrified grinding wheels,the result showed that the adhesion between abrasive and vitrified bond is improved.
