摘　　要：托马斯·金的总督文学奖获奖作品《龟背》描写了一起因剧毒物泄露造成的印第安保留地的环境灾难事件。小说在对毒物的描写中揭开了环境种族主义的面纱,深刻剖析了加拿大社会中原住民社区所遭受的环境灾难背后潜藏的根深蒂固的种族歧视,由此揭示环境污染物与种族之间的依存性关系,以及在一个种族主义依旧盛行的社会实现环境正义的可能性。The Back of the Turtle,the Governor General’s Literary Award-winning book by Thomas King,describes an environmental disaster caused by toxic leakage in an Indian reservation in Canada.The novel unveils the environmental racism through the toxic discourse,analyzing the deep-rooted racism in Canada towards the aboriginals.In this way the novel reveals the relationship between the environmental contaminant and the race issue,and the possibility of environmental justice in a society where racism still prevails.
