摘　　要：高校图书馆员参加学术会议是学习新思想、新技术的一个窗口,也是提升自身学术水平与科研能力的一条有效途径。本文从有助于图书馆员更好地了解国内外图书馆的发展现状与未来发展趋势、有助于解决图书馆工作中的实际问题与指明未来努力方向等四方面论述高校图书馆员参加学术会议的必要性,从广泛获取会议信息及选择合适的会议、积极争取经费支持等三方面探讨高校图书馆员参加学术会议的实现策略。University librarians’participation in academic conferences is a window to learn new ideas and technologies,and an effective way to improve their academic level and scientific research ability.This paper discusses the necessity of University Librarians participating in academic conferences from four aspects:helping librarians to better understand the current situation and future development trend of libraries at home and abroad,helping to solve practical problems in library work and pointing out the future direction of efforts,etc.And actively strive for financial support and so on to discuss the strategies for university librarians to attend academic conferences in three aspects.
