摘　　要：信号是流动的能量,信号携带信息,信号传输是知识成为可能的基本前提。感官系统和意识的产生依赖流动的能量,流动能量携带信息即为信号,信息量和信息内容是信息的两大基本要素,信息内容随感官系统和意识的选择而转化为意义,意义的初始形态是现象,现象使知识成为可能,由此可知,信号传输使知识成为可能。Signal is flowing energy,and it carries information.Signal transmission is the basic precondition which makes knowledge possible.Sensory system and the generation of consciousness depend on the flowing energy.Signal indicates the information carried by flowing energy.The amount and content of information are the two basic elements of information.Information content is translated into meaning with the selection of sensory systems and consciousness.The initial form of meaning is the phenomenon that makes knowledge possible.That is to say signal transmission makes knowledge possible.
