Aikengdelesite region, located on the composite joint zone of the east margin of Qaidam and the south of East Kunlun,is an important part of east Kunlun polymetallic metallogenic belt.1∶25 000 stream sediment survey carried out in the region obtained rich geochemical survey results, based on which the content, distribution, variation, relevance of ore-forming elements and the features of anomalous region are analyzed. The results show that the ore-forming element enrichment and dilution in this area are evidently controlled by strata, intrusion rocks and structures, and Au,Ag,Cu,Pb,Zn and Mo are important target ore species in the area.According to the regional geology, physical and chemical prospecting and minerals data,6 ore-prospecting spots are delineated.Among them,Datewula-Halaguole Au-Ag-Pb polymetallic ore-prospecting area and Aikengdelesite-Wulantuolaituo Mo-Ag polymetallic ore-prospecting area can be target areas ready for further prospecting. The study can provide theoretical basis for next-step prospecting and survey.
