摘 要:哈代以《上帝的葬礼》为代表的许多宗教诗歌与尼采反基督、反传统的惊世口号"上帝死了"形成呼应,从上帝、信徒等视角描述了十九世纪笼罩西方社会的信仰危机及其带给人们的精神苦难和心理阴霾,捕捉了西方文明进程中这段矛盾复杂的心路历程,从认识论和发展论的高度梳理了信仰衰落的历史脉络,分析了"上帝葬礼"的文化实质及"后上帝时代"的矛盾情结,指明了人类自我拯救的道路,表现了对人类命运的人文关怀。Represented by God's Funeral,Hardy's religious poems show the faith crisis that shrouded the Western World as well as the agony and bewilderment that people experienced in the nineteenth century.Those poems in a sense correspond with Nietzsche's world-shaking slogan--"God is dead",and record the complicated and contradictory journey of human soul in the special process of Western Civilization.In those poems,Hardy also indicates the way of selfsalvation for the human race and expresses his earnest concern of the human destiny.This thesis reviews the historical development of the faith decline from the perspective of epistemology and analyzes the cultural nature of God's funeral and the contradictory complex in the post-God era.
