摘　　要：高校思想政治教育作为"立德树人"的重要阵地,发挥实践性教育功能是其应有之义。当前,我国高校思想政治教育在实践方面还存在较大完善空间,一定程度上影响了教育功能的实现。如何进一步加强思想政治教育,有效推进新时代中国特色社会主义思想进课堂、进教材、进头脑,是一个要求不断创新的课题。科学地把握和借鉴美国大学公民教育实践方面的经验,对于促进我国高校思想政治教育实践的发展,实现教育目标、内容以及方法的生活化,保证思想政治教育的有效性,具有积极的现实意义。As aplanting field where talents with good citizenship and professional knowledge and skills are cultivated, the political education in Chinese universities should involve themselves in providing students with practice. Further improvement in practice of political education exists, and current situation hinders the realization of its educational goals. How to improve political education and effectively involve ideology of the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the classroom, textbook and the mind-set of the student are an essential topic to study with sustained innovative spirit. The enlightenment of the practicality of American civic education on the political education in China is helpful to boost the practical development of Chinese university political education, actualizing the life characteristics of teaching content and method in the end raise the teaching effect to a higher level.
