摘  要:网络功能虚拟化使得网络中间件能够以虚拟网络功能的形式运行在通用服务器上,并按照一定的顺序形成网络功能链部署在网络中,以提供特定的服务.由于系统故障的普遍性,需要对网络功能链中的服务器节点和链路进行备份,从而保证网络功能链的可用性要求.文中针对性能需求变化频繁的多实例虚拟网络功能链部署问题,提出一种基于迭代扩展的多实例虚拟网络功能链部署策略,兼顾通信开销和网络功能实例复用,并通过迭代将待部署的网络功能实例依次导入以扩展性能瓶颈,在满足服务可用性要求的前提下降低部署过程中的通信和实例部署开销,从而提升资源利用率.模拟实验结果表明,与主流策略相比,文中提出的方法能够减少20%以上的资源开销.Network function virtualization enables hardware-based middleboxes to be implemented as VNF(virtual network functions) on general servers,and further be chained in a certain order to provide specific services.Due to the universality of system failures,the VNFs need certain backups against both nodes (servers) and links failures to satisfy the dependability of services.This paper proposes an elastic deployment strategy including node scoring and path expansion algorithm taking into account the communication overhead and VNF multiplexing based on the state-sharing NFV(network function virtualization) mechanism.For multi-instance VNFC(virtualized network function chain) that supports performance scaling of services,VNF instances to be deployed are imported one by one,which reduces the communication and instance deployment overhead in deployment.Evaluation results show that the deployment strategy proposed in this paper can reduce more than 20% overheads of instance placement and communication compared with other existing strategies.
