史梦兰与曾国藩交往始末

摘　　要：太平天国战后,为改变"内轻外重"的状况,清廷调曾国藩补任直隶总督。上任伊始,曾氏命各府州县举荐人材,时乐亭知县蔡志修荐引了举人史梦兰。史推却不成,前往保定与曾国藩见面,二人交谈多时。曾氏见史梦兰学问淹博,欲留其主讲莲池书院。史以母老为由力辞,回乡未仕。有学者认为史梦兰于同治七至九年充任曾国藩幕宾,是不准确的。同治十一年,史梦兰闻知曾国藩病逝,为作挽诗二首。After the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,the Qing government appointed Zeng Guo-fan to be the governor of Zhili in order to change the condition of"big power of foreign officials and small power of Beijing officials".At the beginning of his office,Zeng had ordered the prefectures and counties to recommend talents.Laoting magistrate Cai Zhi recommended the successful candidate of provincial level Shi Meng-lan.Shi went to Baoding to meet Zeng.They conversed for a long time.Zeng wanted Shi to be the lecturer of the Academy of Lotus House.Shi refused the invitation by taking his old mother as an excuse.It is inaccurate to say that Shi was the advisor of Zeng during Tongzhi seven to nine years.Shi created two poems for Zeng's death in Tongzhi eleven years.
