百年书面汉语与中国语文现代化运动:历史、现实与反思——为纪念现代汉语一百周年而作

摘　　要：从历史与现实两个方面考察百年现代汉语书面语与中国语文现代化之间的密切关系及其表现,并在此基础上进行了一些反思。在语文现代化运动中及其背景下,现代书面汉语在革命化与通俗化的诉求下,经过初步达成、初步改造与彻底改造3个阶段,最终铸成其口语化的突出特点。上述特点在词汇方面表现为古雅词语少、方俗词语多,显示现代书面汉语偏向俗常、偏离庄典的文体特征。基于以上认识,立足于百年书面汉语与语文现代化运动的互相观照,在目标诉求的一元与多元、工具性与经济性,以及白话与文言的关系3个方面进行初步的反思,认为语文现代化运动本身也应与时俱进,其与书面汉语互为参照的研究应当持续进行下去。This paper discusses the causal relationship and performances between centenary modern written Chinese and modernization of Chinese language from two aspects of history and reality,and makes some reflections on this basis. In the modernization of Chinese language and its background,under the demand of revolutionization and popularization,modern written Chinese has gone through three stages: preliminary accomplishment,preliminary reform and thorough reform,and finally formed its protruding characteristics of colloquialism. The above-mentioned features show that there are few classical vocabulary and more dialect vocabulary in terms of vocabulary,showing the stylistic features of modern Chinese which prefer to vulgarity and are far away from elegant. Based on the above understanding,and the mutual view of centenary modern written Chinese and modernization of Chinese language,this paper makes a preliminary reflection on the three aspects of the unity and pluralism of the target appeal,the instrumentality and economy,and the relationship between the vernacular and classical Chinese,we hold that Chinese language modernization movement itself should also keep pace with the times,the study of mutual view with written Chinese should be carried out continuously.
