Objective To discuss the significance of coagulation function test in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). Methods There were 80 patients with acute exacerbation of COPD as experimental group, and 80 patients with stable COPD as control group. Detection and comparison were made on plasma prothrombin time(PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT), fibrinogen(FIB), platelet(PLT), D-D dimer(D-D) levels between the two groups. Results The experimental group had PT as(13.7±1.5) s and APTT as(39.3±18.2) s, which were all longer than(12.3±1.4) and(32.2±18.3) s in the control group, and higher FIB as(4.6±1.0) g/L, D-D as(1.3±0.2) mg/L and PLT as(208.6±56.2)×10~9/L than(3.1±1.1) g/L,(0.6±0.1) mg/L and(188.0±56.1)×10~9/L in the control group. Their difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Patients with acute exacerbation of COPD are in hypercoagulable state, which is more likely to lead to thrombosis. Detection of coagulation function is conducive to monitoring the disease changes of COPD.
