摘　　要：多年来,如何评价中国的改革开放,一直是国内外学界讨论的热点问题。面对西方学者在不同立场、不同意识形态基础上对中国改革开放的种种解读,有必要对其基本观点进行梳理并加以分析。迈斯纳围绕着改革开放的性质及其表现、改革开放的历史继承性、改革开放的历史影响三个方面展开论述。对于以迈斯纳为代表的西方学者对中国改革开放的看法,正确的认识要给予肯定,偏差的误读要给予澄清。理性地看待西方学者对于中国改革开放的评价可以为全面深化改革、扩大开放提供必要的启示。Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago,"how to evaluate China's reform and opening up" has always been a hot topic in the academic circles at home and abroad. Facing various interpretations of China's reform and opening up by western scholars on the basis of different standpoints and different ideologies, it is necessary to sort out and analyze their basic viewpoints. Meisner discussed the nature and performance, the historical inheritance and the historical influence of reform and opening up. As for the western scholars represented by Meisner's views, the correct understanding should be affirmed, and the misreading and deviation should be clarified. A rational view of western evaluation of China's reform and opening up can provide necessary enlightenment for deepening the reformand opening up in an all-round way.
