摘　　要：认知诗学"从解释到发现",力求发现作品效果中新的原因、作品新的涵义或新的美感。文章通过认知诗学主要范畴:原型、图形—背景、脚本理论,品鉴郭沫若英诗翻译中的精妙之处,理解其译文中个人感情投入及中国文化、东方元素的渗透;赏析郭沫若译本中看似跳跃实则紧扣原文的高明手法;挖掘郭沫若英诗翻译之新美。"From Interpretation to Discovery",an approach in Cognitive Poetics,provides new explanations to the effects of literary works,discovers new connotations and aesthetic perception in works.In this paper,we apply prototype theory,figure/ground segregation theory and script theory,which belong to the main categories of cognitive poetics,to the interpretation of Guo Moruo's Chinese versions of English poetry.With the cognitive approach,this paper finds a new way to appreciate Guo Moruo's Chinese versions,give an explanation to the involvement of his personal emotion and the acculturation of Chinese cultural elements,analyze the sophisticated translation skills which made the translation version follow closely to the original,and unearth the beauty of Guo Moruo's Chinese versions,which is never discovered.
