“莫非”的历时演化及其动因机制

摘　　要：历时演化平面上,"莫非"有两条演化路径。路径1:否定性无定代词"莫"+否定副词"非">范围副词。魏晋南北朝,统括副词形成;宋代,限定副词出现。本路径的词用频逐渐降低并于现代消亡。路径2:揣测副词"莫"+否定副词"非">揣测副词>反诘副词。元代,揣测副词形成;清代,反诘副词形成。本路径的词用频呈基本上升趋势。Diachronically, the evolution of the adverb“Mofei”goes along two routines. The first routine: the negative infinitival pronoun“Mo”+ the negative adverb“Fei”finally develpoed to be a scope adverbs. During Southern and Northern Dynasties, the summary adverb“Mofei”was formed;in Song Dynasty, the restric. tive adverb“Mofei”occurred.The frequency of words in this routine gradually reduced to zero in the mandarin Chinese.The second routine:the speculation adverb“Mo”+ the negative adverb“Fei”was first a speculation ad. verb and then a rhetorical adverb. In Yuan Dynasty, a speculation adverb“Mofei”came into being;in Qing Dynasty, the rhetorical adverb“Mofei”was used. The frequency of words in this routine has been increasing grad. ually.
