摘　　要：《地貌与第四纪地质学》是地质学专业最重要的专业基础课。地貌学主要论述各种地貌形态、形成、发展和分布规律;第四纪地质学主要阐明第四纪堆积物的岩性,成因,时代划分,及第四纪古气候古生物、新构造运动等有关理论。地貌学的知识体系有较为广泛的实用性,如在土地科学、城乡建设规划、水利、交通和港口工程的建设、水土保持等方面,地貌学的知识均可以发挥相应的作用。针对该学科自身的特点以及地质类专业自身的特色,分析和总结了该课程教学中遇到的一些问题,再结合自身的教学实践和经验,从增强学生理解地貌形成过程、调整课时分配、编写特色教材以及改进考核方式等方面进行了地质类专业《地貌与第四纪地质学》教学改革工作的探索,使其更适用于应用型地方本科院校对地质类专业的人才培养模式。Geomorphology and Quaternary Geology is the most important basic course for geology majors. Geomorphology mainly deals with various forms, formation, development and distribution of landforms. Quaternary geology mainly expounds the lithology, genesis, age division of Quaternary deposits, and related theories of Quaternary paleoclimate, paleontology and neotectonic movement. The knowledge system of geomorphology has a wide range of practicability, such as land science, urban and rural construction planning, water conservancy, transportation and port engineering construction, soil and water conservation and so on. In the above problems, the knowledge of geomorphology can play a corresponding role.In view of the characteristics of the subject itself and the characteristics of Geology Specialty itself, this paper analyses and summarizes some problems encountered in the course teaching. Combined with teaching practice and experience, the teaching reform of Geology Specialty and Quaternary geology is carried out from the aspects of enhancing students' understanding of the formation process of geomorphology, adjusting the allocation of class hours, compiling characteristic textbooks and improving assessment methods. The exploration of the work makes it more suitable for the talent training mode of geology majors in applied local undergraduate colleges.
