摘　　要："衰年变法"成就了近现代艺术史上的齐白石。年近花甲开始北漂,齐白石并未完全厕身于生计与生活的无奈考量,反而决绝执著于变法创新。齐白石变法动机,并非仅仅源自北上之前数十年的画学实践积累,而更具决定性的因素实则是五四运动之后的整体社会文化氛围,潜移默化地影响了他的历史选择与自我塑造。Due to the innovation in the old age, Qi Baishi became a famous artist in the modern art history. Although Qi relocated to Beijing when he was close on sixty years of age, he did not completely consider the stress of livelihood but set out to inno vate his pain ting. The motive of his innovation not only derived from the accumulation of painting practice in the decades before going to the north, but also came from the overall social cultural atmosphere after the May Fourth Moveme nt, which exerted a subtle in flue nee on his historical choice and selL shaping as the more decisive factor.
