摘　　要：This special issue contains selected papers presented at the 7th International Symposium on Spouted Beds.The first four International Spouted Bed symposia were all held in Vancouver in conjunction with Canadian Chemical Engineering's annual conferences,with Norman Epstein either as Symposium Chair (1982,1991 and 2002) or as a Program Co-Chair (with Kishan Mathur as Symposium Chair in 1973).
