摘　　要：本文对古代中国和西方早期图书馆的发展情况进行了概述,对比分析了中西方古代图书馆智库服务功能的异同,并以古代图书馆服务为启发,结合现代图书馆实际,从发挥意识形态阵地功能、服务智库型用户、利用空间开展智库服务及智库型人才培养、资源建设和奖励机制等多方面,提出了现代图书馆开展智库服务的方法举措,以期对现代图书馆智库服务实践提供有益借鉴。The paper gives an overview of the development of Chinese and western ancient libraries, in which the functions of think tank service of Chinese and Western ancient library are comparatively analyzed. Enlightenment from ancient library service, combining the practice of modem library, certain suggestions are given on how to provide think tank service that focusing on playing an ideological role, offering service to think tank users , making uses of libraries space as well as developing think tank institutional repository. It hopes to provide useful reference for think tank service of library.
