摘 要:使用氙灯侧面泵浦电光调Q Nd:YAG激光器进行实验,输出激光的脉冲宽度为17ns,同时发现在激光脉冲时间包络下沿存在"子脉冲"与拖尾现象.首先,针对这个实验现象,排除了阻抗失配因素.其次,在速率方程组中,通过改变自发辐射中振荡模式的光子数与总自发辐射的光子数的比例系数,分析了腔内光子数密度的变化过程,得到理论激光脉冲宽度为13 ns.通过理论脉冲时间包络与实验脉冲时间包络的比较,发现两者能较好地吻合,从而解释了激光脉冲包络下沿产生的"子脉冲"与拖尾现象.最后,通过速率方程数值模拟对其他增益介质(Nd:GdVO_4,Nd:GYSGG,Nd:YLF和Nd:YVO_4)进行了分析,也得到了脉冲时间包络下沿的"子脉冲"与拖尾现象.Experiments were carried out using a xenon-lamp side-pumped electro-optic Q -switched Nd:YAG laser,the pulse width of output laser was 17 ns,and the “sub-pulse” and tail phenomenon in the laser main pulse envelope lower edge were found.Initially,the factor of impedance mismatch was excluded for this experiment phenomenon.After that,in the rate equations,the change process of the cavity photons number density were analyzed through the change of the proportionality coefficient between the number of photons in the oscillating mode and the total number of photons in the spontaneous emission.The theoretical laser pulse width of 13ns was calculated.The theoretical pulse envelope of the “sub-pulse” and tail phenomenon showed good agreement with the experimental pulse envelope.The “sub-pulse” and tail phenomenon in the laser main pulse envelope lower edge were explained.Finally,other gain medias (Nd:GdVO 4,Nd:GYSGG,Nd:YLF and Nd:YVO 4) were analyzed by numerical simulation of the rate equations,and the “sub-pulse” and tail phenomenon were also obtained due to the change of the proportionality coefficient.
