历史地理学的国际发展及近今需要解决的问题

摘　　要：历史地理学是研究人类历史时期地理环境及其演变规律的学科,其脱胎于古代沿革地理学,并伴随着近代地理学的发展逐步成长为地理学中独立的分支学科。历史地理学的研究不仅有利于现代地理学科的进步和理论发展,而且具有直接为国家经济和文化建设服务的实践意义与应用价值。梳理历史地理学的发展脉络和重要成果,并且提出在当今时代,历史地理学作为一门年轻的学科,还面临三个主要问题亟需解决。只有在解决这些问题的基础上,才能在探索人类生存和发展的大课题中发挥更大的作用。Historical geography is a discipline that studies the geographical environment and its evolution law in the history of mankind. It is derived from ancient evolutionary geography, and gradually growing into an independent branch in geography along with the development of modern geography. The study of historical geography is not only conducive to the progress and theoretical development of modern geography, but also has practical significance and application value for directly serving the national economy and cultural construction. This paper sorts out the development context and important achievements of historical geography, and proposes that historical geography as a young discipline is still facing three major problems that need to be resolved in today’s era. Only on the basis of solving these problems can historical geography play a greater role in exploring the major issues of human survival and development.
