摘　　要：我国人口出生率下降的趋势已不可逆转,人口出生率下降导致的适龄人口减少将给我国高等教育带来前所未有的挑战。利用人口出生率下降的契机探索转型之路将是我国高等教育面临的重要课题。高等教育单一和粗放式的经营方式已不可持续,要采取优化教育供给、提高教育支出、深化教育改革、建立退出机制等措施推动我国高等教育健康发展。The declining trend of the birth rate of our country is irreversible and it will bring unprecedented challenge to our higher education. It is an important task for China's higher education to explore the transformation path by using the declining birth rate of population. Single and extensive management of higher education is no longer sustainable. Measures should be taken such as improving education supply, increasing education expenditure, deepening education reform, and establishing exit mechanism to promote the healthy development of higher education in China.
