摘  要:当前,以智能手机为代表的消费类电子产品已经给日常生活带来了极大的便利。但是,由于手机电池电量有限,显示面板功耗过大引起的频繁充电问题严重地影响了用户体验。本文提出了一种结合三基色通道直方图修正和直方图匹配的低功耗高画质显示驱动算法。先统计出三基色通道的直方图,并对其进行低功耗修正,再将原图像直方图向修正直方图匹配。与传统的算法相比,本文算法的创新点主要包括:(1)不同于传统的算法通过降低灰阶实现功耗限制,本算法通过减少高亮像素数量实现功耗限制,与此同时,通过保留部分高亮像素提升视觉效果;(2)首次将直方图匹配方法应用到图像的功耗限制,实现了优良的处理效果。实验结果表明,相比于抛物线模型、NPC和ACSC算法,提出算法处理所得图像的显示功耗分别降低了17.8%,10.9%和11.0%。本算法研究通过FPGA验证,结果表明,处理后的图像显示效果优越。A low-power and high-quality display driving algorithm based on the combination of histogram correction and histogram matching of the three basic channels is proposed in this paper.The histograms of three basic color channels are firstly calculated and the low-power correction is executed.And then histogram matching is implemented fr om the original histograms to the corrected histograms.Different from the traditional algorithm in which power constraint is realized by reducing the gray level,the number of high-luminance pixels is reduced to decrease the display power,and part of thes e pixels are retained to improve the visual effect.Histogram matching is applied in image power constrai nt and the good visual effect is realized. Experiments show that the display power of image processed by the proposed algor ithm is 17.8%,10.9% and 11.0% lower than that processed by parabola model,NPC and ACSC,respectively.The pro posed algorithm has been implemented on FPGA.The results show that the displayed image by using the prop osed algorithm has good visual effect.
