《西洋记》与普陀山及观音信仰考述

摘　　要：文章对明代长篇神魔小说《三宝太监西洋记通俗演义》(简称《西洋记》)中描述的普陀山和观音进行考述,认为该书把观音放在百回小说的开篇之首,观音信仰在《西洋记》中具有崇高地位。把《西洋记》与古代舟山方志相对照,《西洋记》中描述的普陀山,包括方位、地形、山名、寺院、景观、典故等等,都是与方志记载中的普陀山之实际情况,大致相符。This paper makes a review of Putuo Mountain and Guanyin, as described in the long magic novel of the Ming Dynasty, The Eunuch, Sanbao s Popular Romance in the Western (hereinafter referred to as the Western ). It is believed that Guanyin belief has a lofty status in The Western as the book puts Guanyin at the beginning of the long novel. Comparing The Western with the ancient Zhoushan local records, Putuo Mountain described in The Western, including azimuth, topography, mountain name, monastery, landscape, allusions and so on, is roughly consistent with the actual situation of Putuo Mountain recorded in the local records.
