摘　　要：雕塑艺术的进步与发展往往与材料、工艺的创新有着千丝万缕的联系。大多数时候,材料的更新、造型与成型方式的改进能够给雕塑艺术注入新的活力,使雕塑艺术能够保持活跃、开放、包容的姿态。然而,随着科技的迅猛发展、材料的无限丰富、技术与手段的多样化,雕塑开始逐渐走向过度依赖材料与工艺的极端,材料以及材料工艺几乎是以裹挟的方式在"推动"雕塑艺术的发展,雕塑艺术面临着被科技手段彻底支配甚至消亡的可能。The improvement and development of sculpture is inextricably linked with the innovation of material and technology. In most cases, adoption of new materials and innovation of modelling and shaping methods can inject new vitality to the art of sculpture, and keep it vibrant, open-minded and inclusive. However, with the rapid development of science and technology, enrichment of materials and diversification of technological means, sculpture gradually becomes over dependent on material and technology, which almost force the development of sculpture. Consequentially, sculpture\ faces a risk of complete domination by technology or the possibility of extinction.
