摘　　要：宗教与慈善相结合,这是近代潮人慈善事业中的一个普遍现象。这种结合不仅表现在潮人慈善的宗教缘起方面,也表现在潮人慈善团体中宗教性收支所占的比重方面。在实际的慈善活动中,宗教不仅起到了仪式规范的作用,还通过施善者和受施者,真实地反映出蕴含在善举过程中普遍性的社会心理需求。然而,宗教仪式在推动潮人慈善事业发展的同时,也起着消极、阻碍的作用。根本上说,近代潮人慈善事业发展进程中,宗教是一个平台,慈善是这一平台上的主要活动,两者结合起来的关键,在于社会正常秩序的需要和潮人宗教信仰的实用取向。The combination of religion and philanthropy is a common phenomenon of modern Teochew people charity. This is not only reflected in the religious origin of Teochew People charity, but also in the proportion of religious economy in Teochew people charities. In the actual philanthropic activities, religion not only plays the role of ritual norms, but also reflects the universal social and psychological needs in the process of benevolence through the beneficiaries and recipients. However, religious rituals play a negative and obstructive role in promoting the development of Teochew philanthropy. Ultimately ,religion is just a platform, charity is the main activity on the platform. The key to the combination of the two lies in the need for normal social order and the practical orientation of Teochew peopled religious beliefs.
