追寻人生的旅程——原型批评理论下《我的璀璨生涯》分析

摘　　要：《我的璀璨生涯》是澳大利亚杰出女作家迈尔斯·富兰克林的第一部经典著作,也是一部现代女性的成长史。该小说描写了聪明坚定、勇于追求目标的独立女性西拉比在冲破多重阻挠后毅然选择走上成为文学家道路的故事。作为半自传体小说,西拉比追求自己事业的过程也正是作者进行的一场追寻生活意义的旅程。本文从原型批评理论中有关旅程的叙述原型角度出发,分析了女主人公发现自我、追寻梦想的过程。“My Brilliant Career”, the first classic novel of the outstanding Australian women author Miles Franklin and also a writing of modern women’s development history, tells the story of Sybylla, a determined and ambitious girl who struggles for being a writer after going through many difficulties. As a semi - autobiographic novel, the process of pursuing Sybylla’s own career is also the journey to find a meaningful life of the author herself. This article analyzes the course of Sybylla’s self - realization and dream - pursuing from the point of narrative archetype of the“journey”under the theory of archetypal theory.
