摘 要:为提高固态硬盘阵列满条带写的占比,减少传统RAID5读修改写和读重构写造成的频繁校验更新,提升阵列性能,降低闪存的擦除次数,延长阵列的使用寿命,提出一种基于RAID5的动态条带策略——RADS (redundant array dynamic striping)。在传统RAID5静态条带的基础上融入动态条带设计,全局条带映射表和动态条带映射表的结合为条带数据的映射和管理提供一种简洁、高效的方式。仿真结果表明,相比于传统RAID5,RADS的写请求次数最高减少了48.50%,擦除次数最高减少了30.37%,平均写响应最高减少了57.44%。For raising the proportion of SSD-RAID full-stripe write,reducing the frequently parity update which caused by traditional RAID5 read-modify-write and read-construct-write,improving the performance of SSD array,decreasing the flash erasure times,prolonging the span time of array,RADS (redundant array dynamic striping),a RAID5 based design of dynamic striping was proposed.Dynamic striping design was integrated on the basis of traditional RAID5 static striping,the combination of ove- rall-stripe-mapping-table and dynamic-stripe-mapping-table provided a succinct and efficient way for stripe metadata mapping and managing.The experiments based on simulator SSDsim show that the number of write requests under the SSD array is reduced by up to 48.50%,the number of erasure times is reduced by up to 30.37% and the average write response is reduced by up to 57.44% compared with traditional RAID5 storage system.
