摘　　要：谭惠娟教授所著的《拉尔夫·埃利森文学研究》(2018)是我国第一部从全局视野对美国20世纪重要的非裔现代作家拉尔夫·埃利森展开系统研究的著作。该书由十四章构成,不仅从考察埃利森文学现象到梳理作家的文学创作,再到解读作家的文学和文化思想意涵,为我们生动地勾勒了埃利森的文学全景;而且深入探究了埃利森对美国非裔文学传统的创新与超越、埃利森的文化思想以及他对美国主流文学传统的融合与批判。该书以开阔的研究视野、创新的研究路径和深刻的理论阐释,为我国的美国非裔文学研究提供了重要参考。A Study of Ralph Ellison’s Literary Writings , published in 2018 by Prof. Tan Huijuan, offers the first comprehensive interpretation of the literary writings by Ralph Ellison, a prominent African-American writer in the 20th century. Composed of 14 chapters, the book explores the Ralph Ellison literary phenomenon, sorts out Ellison’s literary writings, and interprets significances of Ellison’s literary and cultural thought, vividly depicting for us a panorama of Ellison’s literary world. Moreover, it delves into Ellison’s innovation and transcendence of African-American literary conventions, his cultural thought, and his integration and criticism of American mainstream literary conventions. The book provides important reference for the African-American literary studies in China with its broad research vision, innovative research approach and profound theoretical interpretation.
