摘　　要：地层沉积模拟方法可分为确定性建模方法和随机建模方法。基于细胞自动机的建模方法属于随机建模方法。应用此方法,通过反复迭代,可以采用简单的控制方程来模拟复杂过程。Burgess将细胞自动机建模方法应用于碳酸盐岩沉积模拟,其研究工作最为典型。以Burgess的研究内容为背景,介绍基于细胞自动机的碳酸盐岩沉积模拟过程,总结其优缺点,分析此类方法的发展趋势及应用前景。Stratigraphic sediment simulation methods can be divided into deterministic modeling method and stochastic modeling method.Modeling method based on cellular automata belongs to stochastic modeling method.After iteration procedure,simple control equations can be used to simulate complex processes by the above method.Burgessu,whose research work is the most typical,applies cellular automata modeling method to carbonate sedimentary simulation.Based on his study,the process of carbonate strata simulation by cellular automata is introduced,and the advantages and disadvantages of the method are summarized.The development trend and application prospect of this method are analyzed.
